강강술래

강강술래는 앞소리와 받는 소리가 춤의 반주인 소리 춤으로서 전라남도의 해안 지역에 퍼져 있는 우리 나라의 대표적인 여성들의 춤입니다. 강강술래는 주로 한가위 밤에 놀아왔지만 지방에 따라서는 정월 대보름 밤을 비롯하여 봄, 여름, 가을 어느 때든지 달 밝은 밤에 수시로 놀았습니다.

수원, 안양, 영동 등 3개 스테이크 상호부조회 회원들이 참여하는 강강술래의 구성은 손에 손을 잡아 연결된 상태에서 월을 나타내는 원무가 중심이 되었습니다. 또한 사이사이에 남생아 놀아라, 고사리 꺾기, 청어 엮기(풀기), 덥석 몰기(풀기), 지와 밟기, 꼬리 따기, 훤지새끼 놀이, 문 열어라, 개고리 타령 등 부수적인 춤들이 번갈아 가면서 놀아지는데, 새로운 춤으로 넘어갈 때마다 원무의 형태를 이루고 있습니다.

-The hand-in-hand circle dancea-

At the Harvest Moon Festival under the full moon, women of the southwestern coastal region, including the Haenarn area and Chindo Island in Chollanarn-do, have long performed the circle dance and roundelay Kang Gang Sullae.
In some regions, it was enjoyed by villagers year round including on nights of the full moon or whenever it was bright at night.

Relief Society Sisters from three stakes, Suwon, Ahnyang and Youngdong, will perform this dance. The basic movement of this dance consists of holding hands and circling around. The dancers join in the refrain as the leader instructs them at the top of her voice. To add more interest, a variety of traditional dance movements related to domestic activities are inserted.

These are the tort야se game, picking wild bracken, stringing dried fish, walking across roof tiles, cutting fish tails, rolling up straw mats, playing the gate-guarding game, threading needles, etc. As each new activity is inserted the women form a circle again.

주로 한가위 밤이나 정월대보름 밤, 달 밝은 밤에 추는 여성들의 대표적인 춤으로 손에 손을 잡아 연결된 상태에서 원을 나타내는 원무가 중심이 되었다.

수원, 안양, 영동 등 3개 스테이크 상호부조회 회원들이 참여하였고, 모두가 손을 잡고 원을 그리며 뛰다가 다시 4개의 작은 원으로 나뉘어지고 다시 2개의 큰 원으로 나뉘어졌다. 문열어라, 개고리타령, 꼬리따기등 새로운 춤으로 넘어갈 때마다 원무의 형태를 만들어졌다.

정월대보름 강강술래를 외치며 밝은 달빛아래 소망을 빌며 원을 돌며 춤추는 모습에 동화된 관객들은 큰 함성과 환호를 보냈다. [한국공식사이트-문회의 밤 기사]
